Pre-writing
Before writing, you should choose a topic. Then, you write about it. This is called pre-writing.
Brainstorming
It refers to the way the ideas about a topic are gathered. When you brainstorm, write down every idea that comes to you. Just write. At the end, you decide the best.
Making a list
It means that you should write every single word, phrase or sentence that are connected to your topic.
Free writing
You should write without stopping, don’t worry about your mistakes. Don’t check your dictionary, just keep writing.
Mapping
Write the topic in the middle of a sheet of paper with a circle around it and then, put the next ideas in other circles around it and connect the circles with lines.
Editing
After gathering ideas, go back and edit them. Choose the best ones and the most relevant ideas to your topic. You can add the new ideas too.
